With great anticipation I was waiting for this day to come and now it's here!
Today, is the first day of work in my new studio which is adjoining the wonderful 'Papenhuder 57' gallery in Hamburg.
The gallery has several rooms with changing exhibitions form different artists. By becoming one of the three artists with their individual studios next to the gallery I am going to have fantastic opportunities to cooperate, while working in a creative environment and benefit from being on the spot to showcase my works.
Many lucky coincidences brought me to this and I am happy to have found my "arty" place in Germany where I can continue to work on my current painting projects and also look out to create a wider network and ultimately develop further as an artist.
All my art material and painting equipment has been moved in already over the weekend so that I was able to enjoy a big fresh start in my new atelier this morning.

The long-travelled portrait of Labrador Retriever Murphy has finally made the journey to its new owners.
I have started to work on this painting yet in England and whilst moving to Germany this summer it could only be finished recently. This week now, I was travelling back to the UK to present and hand over the final piece.
I am very thankful for the entire experience and especially for having become friends with Johnny, Kevin and the lovely dog Murphy.

In their own words:
