30/3/2017 0 Comments Picking up the pencilDrawing for me is the basis of any good painting and thinking back of my time in the UK I really did enjoy human figure drawing sessions at Heatherley's and the Queensgate Studios. I discovered the Honigfabrik in Hamburg, a place for all kinds of art and cultural that offers old school drawing sessions with changing models. I had fun studying the quick 2-minutes-poses and was actually quite stunned by the patience and skills every one put into it. So, I might be going more often ;-D

E. 21/10/2016 0 Comments Thank you Santorini Biennale 2016!A beautiful series of terrific art events de toutes couleurs over the summer will find its climax in tonight's closing ceremony of the 3rd International Biennale of Santorini in Greece.
The Biennale was an excellent platform for me to show a new side of my work but also to connect with the public, make new friends and have interesting encounters and discussions. Thank you to the visitors an the organizers for the great job! For tonight I wish especially Kikos and Gregory a smashing final and hope they don't forget that some artists are already keen on knowing the inspirational theme of the next Biennale. Looking forward to some visual highlights from the closing night with the Jazz-Opera event I wish every participant, and artist much success in the future. All the best, E xxx |
