29/9/2016 0 Comments Frieze Art Week LondonFrom 6th to 9th October the annual Frieze London is taking place at Regent's Park and will open its platform for the leading galleries in the world to show, promote and sell art from the hottest artists of the globe.
With its prime locations at Regent's Park the Le Dame Art Gallery based in the Meliá White House hotel also opens its doors for everyone interested in contemporary art. Le Dame Art Gallery and all public areas of the Meliá White House up to the 8th floor host a temporary programme of selected artworks. I am very happy that 3 paintings of the Connections series are part of the show during Frieze. The paintings of the Connection series, that were first presented during the ARTROOMS 2016 earlier this year, have received outstanding critics. I wish you an artful and mind-blowing experience and hope you find some art to fall in love with. https://frieze.com/fairs/frieze-london https://ledamearthub.com/2016/06/30/artist-of-the-week-ernesto-heen/ https://ledamearthub.com https://youtu.be/_8cMnvxwkwE

22/9/2016 0 Comments Website UpdateAutumn starts with a fresh look of the Artwork section of my website. Given the two project themes "Connections" and "Alice" this year there is now more background information available that provide much more detail and background. I hope you enjoy and look forward to your feedback. All the best, E.

It's the view inside the caldera over to the southern cliffs of Thirassia. Santorini is a very special place that attracts many visitors every year from each corner of the world with it's the natural beauty, an interesting ancient history, exquisite places to stay and a fabulous geek Mediterranean cuisine, all nestling around the spectacular scenery of a volcanic crater.
I can't wait to be back hopefully next year. 12/9/2016 0 Comments Leaving the wonderlandI was departing from Santorini this morning with a happy and relaxed feeling after a spectacular time I had being under the magic spell of this beautiful island and being amazed by the warmth of the people I got to meet there. My thanks go out to Mark, John, Melissa, Maria, Palamas, Kikos and Gregory, the helpers of the Biennale and also the welcoming Aressana team that made my time very special.
A moment of joyous goosebumps it was to look out of the plane this morning and see the white roofs of Imerovigli with the exhibition centre where my Alice paintings are part of this outstanding art display which is still on until mid October. |
