This summer in Greece

... the 3rd edition of the Santorini Biennale is going to take place this summer and I am proud to be among the selected Artists that have creatively explored the meaning and depths of this year's theme 'Alice's adventures in Wonderland' and its translation into the world of today.

From the first idea to the final brushstroke, the pieces that I have created in preparation of the Biennale have become some kind of symbolic companions to me and encapsulate all those things and thoughts I encountered when asking myself what is it that makes us human and what is our relation to lifetime. The answer as I found it is empathy, that deep lying feeling within the heart's core. 
And so it's with empathy how my paintings will hopefully speaks to the visitors of the Biennale on the spectacular island Santorini.
